- highly technical engineering work in the green energy field - hybrid work environment (2 days in the office is mandated) - great coworkers who share their knowledge - competitive pay with annual bonuses, profit sharing, and RRSP matching - social functions like annual golf tournament, family holiday party, and after work charcuterie/mixers (and every social event has a charitable aspect) - human resources department is accessible and a pleasure to work with - access to the owner/CEO - office is close to public transit
Cons
- RRSP matching is through RBC (only a Con if, like me, you don't bank with them which means opening a new account and transferring funds to your existing RRSP after the match has been paid out) - office is noisy when full which makes it tougher to take calls and virtual meetings
