We appreciate you taking the time to give your feedback and we are sorry to hear about your experience following the restructuring at the end of 2018. The decisions made regarding staff changes (the changes impacted about 7 people in the fall of 2018, so would not categorize it as a massive lay off) were made after careful evaluation, and based upon objective performance criteria. Any time employees are let go, it is only after a thoughtful process, and typically after several remedial steps have been taken to try to improve the situation through coaching, feedback and support. As noted earlier, as we respect the privacy of individuals, so it is not often widely known what preliminary actions have been taken to try to remedy a performance or behavioral concern. To your point regarding managers, we are constantly investing in the development of our management team by implementing manager training and other programs to ensure they are equipped to coach and lead their teams as effectively as possible.
We are happy that you enjoyed our benefits and perks, as we’ve worked hard to implement a robust benefits program to support employee growth, health and development. Additionally, we encourage all employees to make use of our unlimited PTO policy as it is important to allow everyone time to unplug and unwind.
