Pros
Always busy, never bored. Employees are smart and committed.
Cons
Always busy and when you ask for help you don't get it. Or you're told that everyone else is busy too. Instead of hiring good people, they hire cheap people (offshore). They want improvements to process and yet don't want to encourage the improvements because they're too cheap to fund it. Recently the "white haired army" they call the old people (seriously, the CEO would say this in all hands) got offer letters to retire with their full salary for one year. Not sure how this is legal as it's blatantly agist. There are old employees because the company uses OLD CODE! who is gonna teach the younger hires now? Sexist tendencies... have heard stories of people going to their managers to report something and managers not going to HR like they're supposed to. Women have no place in the leadership here. Terrible for young people. Adding old technology to your resume won't get you in your next job. and the reason you need to find your next job is because you don't get paid enough to work 60 hours a week only to get your project cancelled in the next quarters or so!
