Pros
There is a strong desire from senior management to continuously improve and to ensure that there is a focus on the people within the organisation, maintaining a level of quality and client service consistently across global clients . This can be hard to achieve when there are many people on-site at different client sites but I believe that RS do it better than competitors in the RPO and MSP market. There is a real focus on quality of service to the client and delivering over and above expectations. There is also a strong focus on commercial success and ensuring we think commercially and focus on opportunities. The work can be really interesting and varied particularly if you move to different clients in different sectors, some people prefer to stay in one area but the opportunities are there and to an increasing degree internationally with recent growth.
Cons
I have given a 5 star rating based on overall balance but of course no employer is perfect, with rapid growth there are always some challenges and it takes time for new teams to gel. Sometimes there can be a bit of a disconnect between the specialist head office support teams and the on-site delivery teams and some areas could do with improvement here - I believe that the management team will be aware of where focus is needed as they regularly seek constructive feedback. Don't expect a 9 to 5 and to be able to sit back! You are likely to be continually under the scrutiny of clients with ever increasing expectations, personally I find that a great challenge and it ensures life is rarely dull but it may not be for everyone.
