Pros

Friendly, compassionate and caring team with loads of tenure and experience, and they know how to work hard and care for their clients. Known staffing provider in the industry. Flexible with working whatever hours you want and working onsite/hybrid/remote as needed. Always accommodate you for personal needs, never said no to a personal request. You work your own schedule. Lots of team building activities and events. Great general training at the start, benefits are really good, plenty of PTO for vacations.

Cons

3rd party recruitment industry is a tough place to work in - expectations are high and targets are tough - may take up to 2 years to get fully in the swing of things and get your recruitment + sales activity to a point where you can turn a profit and make bonus, but you might not be able to do it fast enough to hit targets, and senior management will let you go if you can't make enough money in time. If you are willing to work long hours to build your business and work alongside/compete with the best recruiters you will ever meet, then you will make a lot of money.

Complete bait and switch. I accepted this position under one manager, only to find out after resigning from my previous job that I would be reporting to someone else entirely. There was no meaningful onboarding, no training materials, and no support system in place. My manager openly stated that there was no monetary value in helping me succeed and made little effort to train or develop me. Requests to shadow and learn the business were dismissed in favor of keeping me on the phones. Instead of being set up for success, I felt actively prevented from growing. HR was equally disappointing. I raised legitimate concerns and never received a response. The organization talks about development and support, but my experience suggested otherwise. Joining this company was one of the biggest professional mistakes I have made.
