Pros
Good benefits/insurance for full-time employees. You will get a pension after working x amount of years. The other educational assistants are generally fabulous and pleasant to work with.
Cons
It depends on the teacher and principal you are working for. I've worked with principals who do not micromanage and approve transfers to work in another school. I have also worked with principals who will not approve transfers, and they are the same ones who tend to micromanage. Some of the teachers are wonderful to work with and others micromanage.
