Pros
1) Getting to work in an actual startup solving a major Indian problem of daily travelling. 2) A chance to work with a lean and hungry team with plenty of ownership to those who want to take up things and get them done. 3) The decision making process has improved over the last few months, making it more inclusive and thus improving team satisfaction and morale 4) Lastly, we now get all saturdays off, which definitely helps improve productivity. Also the practise of starting salary slips adds more confidence in the staff, so kudos to the leadership for listening to the issues of the staff and changing things in the last few weeks.
Cons
1) Initial onboarding process was shabby and I felt more could be done to make employees settle down at the firm initially. From the HR angle, the firm definitely needs to put in more of an effort to ensure a prospective employee feels comfortable. 2) With a growing team, a bigger office is needed, as present space is getting cramped up, pantry facilities also need to improve and some snacks options alongwith coffee would be good. And a party every now and then would do no harm! 3) Not every department seems to be in sync with one another.
