Pros

• The paycheck clears (most of the time). • Some of the site engineers and junior staff genuinely try to do a good job despite the environment.

Cons

Management is a disaster. Senior leadership is a mix of arrogance, incompetence, and outright hostility. Construction managers and site superintendents lack the technical knowledge to run projects properly but love micromanaging and bullying employees. • Serious lack of experienced engineers. RCC struggles to attract top talent because the company has a horrible industry reputation. Most senior professionals avoid them, so they end up hiring underqualified engineers and throwing them into roles they aren’t prepared for. • Toxic culture. If you don’t “fit in” with the management’s clique, expect to be treated unfairly. Favoritism runs rampant, and if a manager doesn’t like you, you’ll be pushed out in the most brutal way possible. • Horrendous work-life balance. Long hours, unpaid overtime, and unrealistic deadlines are standard practice. • Major quality issues. Poor workmanship, mismanaged subcontractors, and rushed schedules lead to major defects in construction projects. It’s no surprise that RCC-built developments have significant structural issues down the line. Avoid this company at all costs. Whether you’re an engineer, a project manager, or a tradesperson, there are far better companies to work for. RCC is a career dead-end with a toxic environment that no serious professional should subject themselves to.
