Pros
Although we are a new start up company, I have had the privilege of working with the same team members and management staff for over 4 years. I have had the opportunity to hold a few different positions over the past 4 years, which has helped me learn the industry from many different aspects, and I now feel I am able to serve as a better loan officer because of it. A couple of my favorite things about the company includes the truly close knit bond we all have with one another, and the integrity we all have when interacting and dealing with our clients, which makes me feel good about the products and services we provide.
Cons
I really don't have any cons concerning the company I work for, but I can speak on the industry, which effects my day to day. The mortgage industry is forever changing, so it can be challenging to keep up with the changes and adapt to new policies that get implemented often. Another is overcoming the obstacles and negative thoughts on the reverse mortgage product, but I love a good challenge and I think we educate our borrowers for the better!
