tbh, the colleagues are the only good thing about this place.

Cons

where to begin.. 1. Biased Boss – Plays favorites, making the work environment unfair. 2. Devious Seniors – Some seniors will talk behind your back instead of supporting the team. 3. Terrible Management – The leadership is all over the place, with no clear direction. 4. Tasks Beyond Our Job Description – We’re constantly assigned work that isn’t part of our role, with no proper recognition. 5. You Must Master Everything – They’ll make you learn skills you have zero interest in under the excuse of "growth and improvement." 6. Confusing Workflow – No clear processes, making work frustrating and inefficient. 7. Bad Policies That Keep Changing – Rules shift constantly, always favoring the company while ignoring employee well-being. 8. Pick-and-Choose Policies – Sometimes they follow Singapore policies, sometimes Indonesian—whichever benefits them more at the time. 9. Unfair Employment Practices – Promotions, hiring, and evaluations feel inconsistent and biased. 10. Singapore Holidays, Indonesian Salary – They use Singapore’s public holiday schedule but pay Indonesian salaries—clearly a cost-cutting move. 11. Zero Benefits, Almost Impossible Bonuses – They promise bonuses but make it so hard to claim them with endless changing rules. And even if you get it, it’s not much. 12. Seniors Acting Like Children – Instead of mentoring, some seniors dump their work on us, take naps during office hours, and spend their time gossiping to get on the boss’s good side. 13. Taking Credit for Our Work – Seniors will claim projects we worked hard on as their own, completely ignoring our contributions. 14. Useless Managers – They’re supposed to be the bridge between employees and the boss, but they can’t even stand up for their own team. Poor leadership, biased decisions—if they like you, they’ll make things easy. If they don’t, good luck.

Pros

- flexible work arrangements (can WFH or WFA if needed) - fun and friendly colleagues - can moonlight

Cons

- from boss to manager, everyone has terrible management & communication skills - be prepared to be micromanaged by boss all the time - 0 transparency from management - boss will force you to wear different hats, and will assign tasks that are out of your job scope. - working here is the definition of overworked and underpaid - it's common here for a person to be doing a 3-man job - boss is a huge advocate for "no OT-ing" but he closes one eye when an OT has to happen (no OT pay too) - inconsistent employment laws, they pick and choose the laws that benefit them more - VERY HIGH TURNOVER RATE - ALMOST no employee welfare and compensation - toxic work behaviors coming from senior employees (e.g biasness, favoritism), they will also throw you under the bus if they dislike you! and the list goes on.......

Pros

I enjoyed my time at Reson8 as it's a company where teamwork, collaboration and innovation is appreciated. I had the opportunity to work with different teams across the region in Singapore, Indonesia and Thailand. The company and boss provided many opportunities to each one of us for professional growth, supported by his mentorship and working on projects that encourage creativity. As much as possible, the company also tried to provide a positive work environment where there is work-life balance through flexible work options.

Cons

There are many deadlines but that is typically expected of agency work and can be better managed as a team
