Pros
Strong company with locations in most of the US. Area structure provides support to local teams. Good 401(k) plan. Good choices on health benefits although pricey for the size of the company compared to other companies. Constant effort in maintaining good employee engagement. Always looking for ways to improve.
Cons
It is nearly impossible to disconnect when on vacation. Work/life balance can be a challenge, yet if you don’t use your PTO hours you lose them at the end of the year. Some employees put in for PTO but end up working from home or vacation. Field employees are viewed almost as subpar by corporate employees making it very difficult for field employees to transfer/promote to a corporate role. The corporate teams making changes/implementations don’t always understand how they are impacting the field. Annual merit increases are 2% on average making it a difficult message to communicate to your hourly employees who are receiving just cents per hour increases. Some facilities are very old and in dire need of repair. Very political environment.
