Pros

22 PTO days, Weekends off, Casual Dress Code, Catered lunches and free fruit, Opportunities for advancement.

Cons

This was honestly the worst job that I've ever had and I worked there less than 5 weeks. Training was rushed and does not prepare you for the job. There were no side by sides with tenured phone reps during training. We only listened to recorded calls in the classroom but could not see the reps' screen, so that was pointless because there's many different resources that you have to utilize in order to do your job. The people in my class would get into a huddle during breaks and ask "do you understand what's going on?" People were afraid to say that they didn't understand because the trainer seemed annoyed by questions and there was a lot of bullying that was not addressed by the trainer. We also lost a day of in class training because they had a high call volume and needed us on the phones. They only care about having bodies in the seats but they don't care if you actually know what you're doing. The people who worked as floor support were extremely rude and spoke to us like we were tenured reps instead of trainees who were still learning. The job was stressful and very frustrating and I just couldn't take it anymore. I walked out and quit about an hour into my scheduled shift and I don't regret it at all. Now I see why they were offering a $600 sign on bonus and $50 weekly incentives just for coming to work on time.

Pros

The pay is competitive, especially with overtime opportunities, and there is strong potential to earn a solid income for employees willing to work hard. The job also provides steady work and consistent hours, which can be valuable for drivers looking for financial stability.

Cons

The work/life balance for roll-off drivers can be difficult, particularly when working weekends. Drivers are often scheduled in a way that keeps hours under 60 while still requiring Saturday work, rather than being given an additional recovery day during the week. With the level of physical labor involved, one day off is often not enough to properly recover. There is also a heavy emphasis on “swinging” containers. While swings can make sense when locations are far apart, many are scheduled for stops that are very close together and provide little operational benefit. Swings add significantly more physical labor for drivers and, in some cases, can actually take longer than traditional service methods. Over time, consistently working 55–60 hour weeks under these conditions can lead to fatigue and burnout.
