Renew is a complete sink or swim environment, there is very little guidance and direction; if you are not an extremely organized and independent person, you will fail. They do not have much documentation, so there is a lot of self-learning involved. There is a huge lack of management skills, most of the time I felt like I was managing my manager. There is no structure or way of setting personal goals, so it is easy to feel stuck with no upward trajectory. They continue to let bad employees remain in their roles due to "tenure", so good luck trying to succeed even if you're an incredible employee. The communication within the company is terrible, most of the time I would hear about things from other co-workers before anything was announced; though a lot of things were left unsaid since there is no HR or structured way of doing things. They are still a very new company/start up going through a lot of changes, so things could eventually get better, but everyone I know who is still there is miserable. I could go on forever with regards to cons, these are just the highlights.
