Pros

Exposure to strategic accounts, opportunities to drive growth, and a fast-paced environment, but only if you can navigate the shifting rules.

Cons

The commission structure isn’t just flawed, it’s designed to ensure payouts don’t happen. You’re given a contract, but when you hit your targets, leadership abandons it, claiming policies have changed without notice, consent, or a clear explanation. Long-term revenue impact is ignored if it doesn’t fit neatly into a quarterly window, even when leadership benefits from those deals. They’ll acknowledge your contributions, but when it comes to compensation, the conversation shifts. If anyone wants proof of how this plays out in practice, feel free to reach out.

Pros

Nothing none none none none

Cons

I worked at RemotePass as an Account Executive, and I can confidently say it was one of the most frustrating and disheartening experiences of my career. The company sells you a dream of growth, high performance, and lucrative commissions — but it’s all smoke and mirrors. You work relentlessly, believing you'll be rewarded through a clear commission structure, only to be blindsided on the day of payout with excuses like, “the structure has changed” or “the company isn’t hitting its revenue goals.” There’s no prior communication, no transparency — just last-minute changes that leave you with nothing after months of hard work. Even worse, this isn’t an isolated case. This scam has happened to multiple employees. They knowingly string people along with false promises of commission to push performance, then refuse to pay when it’s time. Leadership shrugs it off, blames the market, and acts like you should feel guilty for even expecting what was promised. The culture is toxic, demotivating, and emotionally manipulative. There’s zero accountability from the top, high turnover, and a complete lack of trust within the team. It’s a startup that uses people until they burn out, then replaces them with fresh faces to repeat the same cycle. If you’re an Account Executive considering RemotePass — run. You’ll work hard, over-deliver, and still walk away empty-handed.
