Pros

this role provides exposure to differen workstreams, brokers, and other vendors. If you want to gain knowledge and experience in processes this role will do it for you, hands down. the exposure I received enhanced my skillset and made me even more marketable with other companies. Reliance sets higher goals each year for sales which they are exceeding. this is awesome, they are on target in meeting projected goals

Cons

because this role is tied to project management, unfortunately the amount of work is excessively heavy for just one person. that means you will experience burnout very quickly. 4th quarter gets heavier every year...more business, which is good, but they don't hire enough staff to do the job. In addition the job role is too broad which certain workstreams should have a designated contact and SME. if you want to focus on a quality implementation, you the quantity needs to be manageable. period. other downside, very lottle partnership from Matrix. it really feels like a disjointed relationship between reliance and Matrix. they are definitely NOT aligned when it comes to the collective goal for the client. the attitude and perception is that Matrix is doing a favor to Reliance so Matrix is resistant on so many workarounds. Its amazing how they make it clear we are on two different teams. career goals....its hard to say. as an inyernal candidate I applied and was considered a great candidate and never heard back, not even feedback regarding interview. also no transparency with internal postings. its like the carrer paths are hidden purposely.
