Review - Inspections Manager Reliance Fire Protection Employee Review

This is the first job I've had where you get constant recognition for a job well done directly from the higher ups in person

Don't really have any cons right now because I've only been here almost 2 months

There are a few talented people at Reliance, from which you can learn a lot about fire protection. Design Drawings are well done.

You have to be part of the "in crowd" to survive and be given opportunities to learn and grow. The company is struggling financially; it closed its DC office and its Richmond VA office and continues to have lay offs. The CEO is nice guy but he is over his head on how to turn the company around fiscally. My manager did not recognize my training nor my talents and did not make use of them. I asked for work, but only received empty promises. I volunteered to work to improve Reliance, My talents were ignored. Reliance has two employees that are extremely difficult to work with. They are just mean and nasty.
