Pros
- Fast-paced, continuous delivery-focused engineering culture - You'll learn a lot about product thinking - You'll learn a lot about setting up, running and analysing experiments - You'll learn a lot about what it takes to operate a big complex website at high scale
Cons
- Some people (in engineering - sorry) make it a challenging place to work. Office politics for such a small company are rife and there is a kind of anxiety about working here if you're not in the "in-club". - Senior management has a lot of infighting, which trickles down to all its staff - leading to confusion about what's going on and why such erratic decisions are being made. - Depending on which team you join, you can have a chaotic start to your journey or an amazing one. I had the former and almost quit within the first 3 months.
