As a software developer, you're expected to work on 3+ year legacy projects that lack documentation and there isn't any awareness of best practices in the company.
Many times I watched the team raising multiple concerns over the code quality but no one ever cares your opinion as an engineer because you're expected to follow blind orders or else. They'll make you responsible for your performance in the spaghetti repos that you're not allowed to change in any form.
Many times I found the management to be passive-aggressive as you depend on their approval to from work from home once every 2 weeks.
If you have kids, expect them to give remote work after the core hours you just spend in the office.
The nearest subway station is horrendous at peak hours: Oxford Circus
For software developers, it's far from great and any other company will provide better conditions and respect towards its collaborators.
