Pros

If youre anything like me and doing this because the work itself is a passion, wonderful place. Working hands on with ppl in crisis being apart of helping someone else hang on another day teaching there's a light at the end of the tunnel

Cons

Upper management lies. They will inflate, twist words, to write you up. I was given a list of dates I was "late" or left early and they were from my first week doing certifications my last day I left after I was finished they are marking that as not staying for my shift although I wasn't supposed to stay. We have a 15 min grace window for time attendance, the Thruway is very unpredictable, they pulled days my first 2 weeks in training that fall under that grace window and wrote me up suddenly . The longest peer that's been there is a couple years and it 2 ppl everyone else just got hired within 6 months. What's that tell you. They can keep cleaning house THEY ARE THE PROBLEM! we have a choice today and choosing abuse is not it! I watched them throw away A+ employees to save face. The peers and site manager are wonderful and work together well. Managing peers is different than any other group of ppl. If you allow me to improve on something and I do, you then bring new up you don't get use the old against me you could have fired me then yet it was improved now you wanna lump with something new to make it LOOK WORSE than it is. Even though your work with ppl staff and guests is wonderful and your work is as well. They do not care you are dispensable

Pros

You can meet people with great potential and can make a great impact on them.

Cons

Legit everything. People there thought they had PhDs and knew everything. They didn’t even know anything about addiction or how to stop. Dangerous with no support or safety plan. No way to move up in the company.
