Pros

- Compensation was on par with other jobs in the market - Allowed fully remote work - Benefits were great - My immediate co-workers were very collaborative, my QA lead and director were also great - Work/life balance was pretty good - I felt valued at this company and I felt like my work mattered, I was actively changing the game and moving metrics in a good way

Cons

- The upper management is terrible, there is no strong design direction for the game - There was very little transparency on how bad the financials were - Priorities were changing on a weekly basis, it was difficult to work when there was a complete lack of direction. They're throwing things at the wall and just seeing what sticks - They have no idea how to make the game profitable and therefore I cannot recommend anyone work here. They laid off half of the studio.

Great people, awesome team leads, interesting work and good benefits.

Cons

Unsure about the company's trajectory, though they do have very ambitious plans.

Pros

Great people and culture. Loved the early years of community and growth we achieved. Learned a lot and made a bunch of great friends within the community and staff. Had amazing benefits. I'm going to miss all the people I worked with, but I do not regret working here. All good things must come to an end, as they say.

Cons

Unfortunately, it grew too fast and could not keep up with the profit for the number of players and staff. A change in company direction caused dislike among the employees and players. Just wished that higher-ups would take into consideration more of the staff and community suggestions. I'm sure there could have been a solution to appeal to everyone while still making a profit. Recovery to bring back what the community wanted was too late.
