Pros

Fun work environment while learning management and sales skills at the same time. The ability for growth and opportunities available to those willing to work hard and listen. This can be the difference between working another hourly wage job, or moving up in the world. They can literally teach anyone to do this.

Cons

This is a hard job. You talk to over 200 people a day and they are not always nice. Some days are extremely tough. The lows are low, and the highs are high. That is part of the excitement that comes with the job. This is for people who have never said, "thats not part of my job"

Pros

The only pro I can come up with is if you're a people person you are constantly interacting with people in Sam's club. So if you like to talk to strangers this is a positive aspect that will help with the job.

Cons

You have to harass people into buying phone's, direct tv, and cox in Sam's club . The communication amongst management to employees is awful. You have to drive to Bentonville and Fayetteville four times a week in the morning for a meeting that could have been an email. Once the meeting is over depending on the schedule if you're scheduled for the morning shift you go straight to Sam's, if you're scheduled for the afternoon shift you have to wait a couple of hours and then go to Sam's to work so the meetings completely waste the day if you're scheduled for the afternoon. Each meeting is the same thing repeated over and over. My biggest con would be pay. $10/hr. Not worth it. You never know you're weekly schedule until Sunday so it is almost impossible to make any plans. When clocking in you have to take a selfie and picture of the time and upload them to an app. The app also tracks you. The interview hype's up the company and makes it seem like the most amazing place to work. PRO TIP: if it sounds too good to be true, it probable is.
