Design Department is great - Others not so much. - UX Manager Razer Employee Review

Working in Singapore, I was expecting people to speak good English. But you have to deal with a lot of Chinese-speaking colleagues who are not putting in the effort to talk English. UX management was more than great and human. It was awesome. But don't expect the same kind of treatment in the other departments. Turnover is high, the company is a washing machine. 996 is the policy and you might face very little consideration for your private life and weekends. I've seen a meeting where the COO enters the room and starts insulting people. Calling them names and threatening them with being fired before the meeting even started. I've seen a meeting where CEO explained that doing your job isn't enough to get advancement, you need to be an overachiever.
