Pros
Great pay for the area.
Cons
I cannot speak for how things are handled in Colorado Springs, but I can for Denver. These people will not listen to a request for regular days off. Your days off, you will more than likely be called in. Having more than one day off in a row is rare. On more than one occasion of being called in for work and not being able to go in for personal reasons, I was informed to just put on my jacket and badge and go in anyway. There is no drug testing and it shows. There are people who I have worked with and continue working with some that regularly smell like marijuana and they have yet to be fired. Management themselves regularly send out emails about people not showing up for shifts and tell us that these people will be dealt with via suspension and termination, then given multiple chances to redeem themselves.
