Rainforest Alliance has an amazing mission and started with the right intentions. The employees of RA do care deeply for RA’s mission and want fo make a difference. Global environment and diverse workforce. Benefits are good. Remote work and resilience day policy is great!

Leadership team needs to get their act together. The power play and tension at the top level is very evident and is eroding the value of RA. The impulse is to act first and then think. Constant restructuring is causing a lot of disengagement among staff. the leadership does not seem to learn from the past and make the same mistakes again and again. Centralize, decentralize and centralize is how each new leader approaches their portfolios.
