Pros

9-5 working hours Good place to retire since there is not much work to do 12% non contributory pension Travel opportunities within Europe and around depending on your job profile (company spends like crazy) Restaurant Food is Cheap (though not the best quality)

Cons

No scope for young, ambitious professionals with new ideas and those who want to grow in an organisation because you will be surrounded by people who've been there for 20 years and probably on the same position The dutch call the shots and you are at their mercy People are highly judgmental especially the Corporate Bank in London and its hard to change their attitude; basically quite inflexible and orthodox way of working If your team member is dutch he/she will surely try to dominate over you and its highly likely that if he's got contacts with the Management; you might be sacked There is no appreciation for good work and only the negatives will be pointed out (specifically in my case); with no opportunity to work on it.

Pros

Rabobank culture outside of M&A is positive. Can do travel exchange programs

Cons

Poor work culture, lack of mentorship, lots of leadership turnover and general inappropriate office environment towards women in the IB sector.
