Pros
Great pay, benefits, large company with opportunity to move around, better opportunity than elsewhere in town, wonderful smart employees in difficult technical fields, you can stay here career long if you want
Cons
No concern for work-life balance, doesn't value the information capital in people with long careers, no knowledge management policy, doesn't value truth in speech, values the short term over the long term, speaks the innovation speak but doesn't follow through with actual R&D funding, funding for projects is difficult and bureaucratic and seemingly not tied to performance, doesn't really want to know if employees are happy . . . would rather wring them out and them prop them up with money
