The office was nice- but has now closed. I would say the interaction with colleagues was both the best and the worst part of this role.
Cons
The leadership (or lack there of). Look, it’s a small company, the owner was always sending everyone spinning with his latest great idea. Huge huge wastes of money and time and resources on the next big thing but no commitment or bandwidth to making it work. Owner keeps family on the payroll and they don’t actually work there- but then didn’t give raises out to people who do work there? Just so much silliness in one place. The business has all but collapsed even prior to covid, and I would be surprised if they can even keep a brand for themselves. Hires consultants for everything then doesn’t like what they have to say and fires them. Revolving door of hiring and firing. Quite moody individual, not to mention the leadership beneath him is very inexperienced and egotistical. Company lost many clients and can’t afford rent. Oh my, leaving was the best thing I ever did!
