Pros
REEF is growing at an exponential pace and your ideas are heard and are implemented within a blink of an eye. It's exhilarating to be part of a company that is simultaneously revolutionizing multiple industries and because of the fast growth, there are ample opportunities for anyone's career trajectories. REEF has great employees and company culture is unlike any other organization that I have been at. People are extremely passionate about their jobs and their roles in accomplishing REEF's mission. At REEF, you will quickly learn how to manage your time, manage conflicting priorities, and manage stakeholder expectations. I have learned more in 6 months at REEF than I did in 2 years at my previous organization. Everyone is accountable for their work and high performers are rewarded with new roles and responsibilities.
Cons
REEF is not for the faint of heart. The speed in which REEF operates can be overwhelming to some. Additionally, changes and pivots occur multiple times a week, if not every day and people who cannot navigate through controlled chaos will feel in complete disarray. Not all departments operate at the same pace and slower teams continuously create bottlenecks and they disrupt the performance of others. There are strict salary bands across all levels and compensation is not up to par with competitors.
