Very Bad Work Environment - Ops Manager RAWZ Employee Review

The employees at RAWZ are smart, capable, and a joy to be around. If they were able to run the organization, it would be a great place to work.

In my opinion, this business is set up simply for tax purposes. The owner is a nepo-billionaire that treats the business as a hobby, though working there is not enjoyable for the employees. There is a super small team, too small for everything that needs to be done, but he and his wife have the expectations of a larger organization. You’ll work yourself into the ground but never be able to satisfy the standards set. Without a basic understanding of the work that goes into aspects of the business, the CEO will never appreciate the work it takes to get there. The owner/CEO is also very emotional and will punish you for not agreeing with his ideas implicitly. Anything can give him an emotional reaction that is unprofessional and unpredictable. The environment is unhealthy to say the least.

Colleagues were wonderful to work with.

Out of a staff of 10 people, 6 disgruntled employees have left in a 2 year time frame. They initially pay fairly for the position hired for but slowly load your plate with outrageous requests that are not in your job description with the encouragement of compensation. You end up doing the work for 4 departments. So you bust your tail to prove your worth and when it comes time for your yearly review and raise request, you get nothing but hand towels at Christmas. You then get treated with disrespect and more outrageous requests.
