Pros

-Forty Hour Weeks are the norm. Things sometimes get busier but really are not too bad -100% Remote goes so far -Unlimited time off is real. I use plenty and have never received negative feedback -Managers are consistently good

Cons

-Compensation is lower than I would like, but it isn't terrible -Because of the WLB, turnover is low, which means less opportunities for promotion

Pros

The voluntary separation offer was good.

Cons

I and hundreds of colleagues were transferred from Providence Health & Services to R1. We were told we were guaranteed our jobs for a year. They started offering voluntary separation packages less than a year in. This was suspicious. I didn't take the first couple of offers, but eventually I did - things were feeling uneasy. Since leaving I've heard that there were several layoffs. R1's India team has taken over a lot of the coding we were doing. In the reviews I read before we started with R1 I know losing jobs to the India team was common. I'm glad I left when I did but it's been hard finding a new job.
