Pros
The people are great to work with, and everyone is focused on doing their best. Management is reasonable, and while this is a family business, there are none of the nightmare family dynamics that can rip apart a business. The family works as hard or harder than every rank and file employee.
Cons
The benefits need significant improvement. The health insurance is substandard, there is no dental insurance. Vacation policy is 1 week after 1 year of work, 2 weeks after 2 years of work, and then 3 weeks after 10 years of work. Remote work is frowned upon in some departments.
