Pros

The people that work here are enthusiastic about healthcare and making a difference. Employees are encouraged to go on hospital visits and talk to hospital staff and learn about how hospitals use Qventus, which can be very empowering. There is a lot to learn here and everyone wears multiple hats to get their jobs done. In addition to this the founders care about the company and the people.

Cons

This is a startup, so things are constantly changing, which is expected in a start up environment. Since the company is still relatively new, there are not set guidelines or processes to follow. We need to have a more carefully thought out and consistent performance review process where employees are reviewed on a six month basis instead of an annual basis. Many people are due for promotions, but nothing has happened in over a year, because this is not a top priority for management. This affects every employee and affects employee performance and morale. In addition to the statements above, Qventus needs to start paying everyone market value, and ideally be transparent about compensation. Using stock options as a way of paying a lot less is not a valid excuse. Startups at our level, including startups our investors have invested in, pay a lot more than what Qventus offers, and have more benefits than we do. Reaching a state where every employee is fairly compensated for will increase performance and will lead to more internal referrals. We do not have a full time head of HR, which affects all employees when it comes to benefits, etc.

Pros

I'm happy to come to work every day. It's a good team, transparent leadership, and a commitment to improving the lives of health care providers and patients.

Cons

Despite how long the company has been around there still isn't a 401K match and leaders don't always model taking PTO.

Pros

There are some great individual contributors at the company. Benefits are good. Pay is decent. The work can be rewarding based on patient and hospital impact.

Cons

Too many travel requirements. They hire externally for Senior level positions without considering existing team members or offering to internal applicants first. Then they have junior level team members train the seniors. Feedback falls on deaf ears, or you’re given the runaround. Toxic leadership on Delivery team with an unhealthy obsession with Mean Girls - yes, the movie about high school girls. It seems there may be a “Burn Book” so to speak, in which people are targeted to be fired if you end up on her bad side.
