I welcome the opportunity to address a few of your comments. While during your employment, you may have felt that our procedures are arbitrary, they certainly are very necessary. Our procedures and policies are customized to our customers, not necessarily our employees, and have allowed us the stay in business while many of our competitors have failed. First and foremost we are a service business.
Our training program starts with on the job training as a Junior Technician. The training can be overwhelming and the employees that excel at Quick Connect are willing to work extremely hard while simultaneously focusing on the most minute details. Starting your employment hired as a Junior Tech means you will work closely with me and my senior technicians until your knowledge and work ethic have been demonstrated to be up to QC standards.
One of the privileges of starting your own company from scratch, is you get to have things done your way. My way may not be easy to understand for a junior employee, but it has shown unbelievable growth and success for decades, and people that have worked here for years understand why things are the way they are. It is not our goal to nitpick, but rather to demand excellence over time and hold people accountable when they drop the ball in hopes they learn from it and up their abilities. I will say, the best part of my job is being able to employ people that respect and understand our traditions and will carry them forward with improvements along the way.
