Pros

Given real responsibility from day one, including managing your own client portfolio and influencing revenue. It’s a fast-paced environment that builds strong commercial and transferable skills. Colleagues are supportive and great to work with. Good travel opportunities too, including international trips and client events.

Cons

Training on internal systems could be more structured and in depth for new starters.

Pros

QiH is an excellent starting point for anyone new to the industry, providing a solid foundation to build from the ground up. The colleagues were always supportive and ready to help out whenever needed.

Cons

QiH might seem like a great place to start if you're new to the industry, but don't be fooled by the facade. While the management can appear supportive, the reality is that there’s a lot of superficiality, especially at higher management levels. It often feels like you’re doing the heavy lifting, only for them to take the credit for your work or not acknowledge it at all. There’s this constant pressure to do more, be better, even when you’re already at capacity and hitting targets. No matter how successful the team is, it’s never enough, and the results are rarely acknowledged. The division between the UK and MK offices is painfully obvious— The UK management often dismisses any other perspectives, even when their approach is clearly misguided. Then, there’s the odd habit of firing people over "performance issues" or "not meeting goals," despite having managers who’ve been in management position for years and contribute very little. The daily meetings are an extra layer of frustration—more about proving that they’re working than actually getting anything done. These meetings could easily be cut down to one a week, but of course, they’re stretched out just to maintain the illusion of productivity. The real shocker is the way the lower-level employees are treated. There’s an attitude that they’re easily replaceable, and the pressure is all on them. When it comes to annual reviews, they’re dismissive at best—always with the excuse that you could do better, but without ever clearly defining what success looks like. The goals are always shifting, making it easy to miss out on bonuses. There’s also the frustration of the constant push to be "first in the industry," from higher management which is fine—everyone aims towards excellence . But when they expect you to carry that ambition, while offering so little in return, that's when reality hits. Especially when the pressure is high, but the compensation doesn't match the effort. If you’re expecting real growth and support, think twice. QiH might offer a good starting point for newcomers, but if you're already established in the industry, don’t count on much support from senior management.
