Pros

- Quantic Wenzel is a leading contributor in regards to innovation within their industry - There are bright minds and creative thinkers employed by Quantic Wenzel

Cons

- Managers will blatantly lie about salary ranges for jobs within various departments - Loyal employees, who have worked at this company for +15 years, are neglected and their voices are left unheard - Women are paid unfairly when compared to their male counterparts who lack industry knowledge and experience - Disorganization throughout Upper Management is disguised when reporting to their parent company, Quantic - A certain Project Manager (who is still employed as of 9/13/2022) actively discourages subordinates from conversing and discussing company morale with one another - Managers actively discourage and hinder employees from growing within the company and promote stagnation

Quantic Wenzel Response

Thank you for your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that you had a less than desirable experience during your time with Quantic Wenzel. We continuously look for ways to enhance employee the employee experience. • When it comes to salary ranges and compensation, we are pleased to offer competitive salaries and benefits, individual performance incentives, spot awards that provide the opportunity for high performing employees to earn higher than market compensation as compared to other engineering and manufacturing companies in Central Texas. • Concerning employee feedback, we actively seek input from all of our staff, through regular surveys, one on one meetings, town halls, employee suggestion boxes and more. We communicate the outcomes of that feedback in town hall meetings. • As a company founded by one of the most prominent women in the RF and Microwave industry, we’re proud to compensate all staff fairly based on experience and skill, giving regular performance and annual salary increases. We do this regardless of gender, sex, race, color, religion, national origin, age, mental or physical disability, veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity, or genetic information. • In terms of organization, we are a growing company and as such we are constantly making changes to increase operational efficiencies, better serve our customers, and elevate the employee experience. Employees who wish to contribute and grow their careers have the opportunity to do so with numerous examples of entry level technicians being promoted into engineering and even executive roles. Our organizational structure is sound and effective and continuous improvement is core to our philosophy. • Outstanding culture is central to our success at Quantic Wenzel. >40% of our employees have been with Wenzel 15 years or more. We have 7 employees with over 30 years of tenure. We are a team that supports each other and helps passionate team members thrive. Those that want to grow are promoted and rewarded • Our products have survived multiple missions to Mars, orbit Jupiter’s moons, survive on ships and aircraft and we are proud to carry dozens of audit-based certifications where we were awarded certification from industry standard bodies including ISO and NASA. Since 1978 Quantic Wenzel has delivered solutions to meet these demanding applications without cutting corners. Again, thank you for your feedback. We appreciate you taking the time to provide it to us and we wish you the very best in your future endeavors.

Pros

Interesting work, especially in aerospace and defense, provide some fulfillment. Also, flexibility with work hours is a plus, and some coworkers are really talented and supportive.

Cons

As an RF Engineer at Wenzel Associates, it’s hard to ignore the dysfunction that runs throughout the company. The management here lacks the technical understanding and competency needed to make informed decisions, leading to misaligned priorities and unrealistic expectations. There’s a constant disconnect between leadership and the engineering/production teams, which often results in frustrating miscommunications and missed opportunities. Career growth is practically non-existent here. There is minimal support for professional development, and opportunities for advancement are very rare. Communication is poor across the board. The work culture can be draining and while the programs supported can be interesting, the overall environment is not one that contributes growth or enthusiasm for long-term success.
