Pros

- Easy access to passive leads. - Good sparring opportunities with more experienced PTs and staff tasked with helping your business. - Almost no administrative work to get paid for your sessions. - Good as a part time job.

Cons

- Pay is low compared to other opportunities as a PT, so you trade lower pay for easier client acquisition. - Pay structure only favors people who take on more clients, so even if you are more qualified, you will still get the lowest salary if you are restricted to part time work.

Pros

The only “good” thing is the small percentage of new equipment and that some gyms are 24 hours.

Cons

Management is unfair, cutting hours and expecting a single worker to handle the entire gym. Incredible staff are undervalued, while third-party cleaners and side services pretend to solve problems they don’t. Members are chaotic, shifts are impossible, and yet leadership refuses to hire properly. Think smarter, not cheaper.
