Direct PhD may get stuck if want to quit with a masters, because you may only take 1-2 classes a semester

If you already took the class that you TA a course, you already took there's less work for you to do to prepare for the labs. And you are just instructing the labs for the Engineering Technology department.

Grading is a lot of work, especially when the professor tells you to be stricter with grading, so you have to look at every detail.
