Pros

* Culture : Leadership is approachable (though may not have answers to your concerns always) * Independence to select assignment of your choice * Independence to switch domains if you have skills and company has a need

Cons

* Poor worklife balance. The projects are planned with Zero buffers and crunched timelines * Worse possible HR policies : The salary revision may get cancelled on day of increment, promotion cycles can get vanished over night without appropriate justification, appraisals are used as tools to penalize bad apples than to drive them to company's vision * Worse Project Management practices possible : In most of Nitro projects, the project planning is done ignoring both quality of product and, interest of employees. Result - Majority of deliverables are mediocre or below standards * Internal politics : unless you are luck y to have a right mentor, you will keep struggling for career growth. Short duration projects usually mean switching to new projects and change of leadership. Result - No owner for your own growth * Under-qualified and over-empowered leadership - Many of the senior folks lack leadership skills and vision. Solutions are mostly knee jerk reactions and driven by short term interest

Pros

Amazing culture, at least in this office. Catered lunch twice a week, and constant events and treats and free snacks. Experience can be very balanced in terms of work/life. Great benefits, including generous PTO policy.

Cons

Broader company has poor strategy, and clearly doesn't know what to do with the workforce they have as AI lowers the client pipeline and rates. Roles are only plentiful in the US if you are in Product or Project Management, as other capabilities are being offshored to save client budgets, and/or are being collapsed so that employees must vibe-AI their way into competency. This leads to sapped morale and poor output at the client level. As the company has been struggling - and as promotions become less likely to be approved - some of the most passionate folks in the company have left for greener pastures, or have been unceremoniously pushed out. This in turn has led to a weakening of office culture. Your work experience can also be variable - depending on seasonality, client pipelines, and role, you could be so busy you don't have time to care for yourself or so bored you are feigning productivity. More than is normal at other consulting companies, the workloads seem incongruent with who's being hired or not.
