Good local IT work but unclear promotion process - NOC Analyst Provalus Employee Review

I have worked with Provalus for the past 6 years. I have watched the company grow from 2 locations to 9 increasing benefits and pay throughout those 6 years. I have watched employees advance through the company and build long lasting careers gaining valuable experience.

Growing pains with this being a younger organization at times it can be tough to navigate the quick growth. It can be very stressful when we are expanding fast.

You won't find many tech jobs like this in small towns. The mission is giving people like you a chance. The company is growing rapidly and constantly improving benefits programs and amenities. The culture is also very inclined towards working with your flaws and growing you as an employee rather than cutting you at the first sign of trouble. The only things that you will get instantly fired for are drama and attendance, which is 100% necessary to keep a good work environment.

Because they primarily hire local talent, leadership is sometimes pretty green around the gills. Coming in with experience won't mean too much in some areas because of that. Income is also capped. Because they are a newer company, you also won't find things like robust time off packages, but that is quickly changing.
