Pros
I’ve been working at Promet as a contractor for 6 months now and just renewed another contract. Im extremely happy to be working with such a great group of talented and charming individuals.
So first off, let me just start by saying the team is what makes this place. The CEO is super down to earth and just an all around great guy. HR is always a pleasure to work with and my Project Manager is amazing. The CTO, DevOps, SysAdmins, Developers, QA and everyone else are so good at what they do. An extremely bright group of individuals.
The company’s culture is great to. We get to work remotely, we have weekly meetings on random topics and it seems like everyone has a dog (including me). If you love dogs, you’ll never be short of puppy pics.
But for me what is most important is their encouragement and contribution to their staff to become better at what they do everyday. As a web developer I’m constantly working on projects that require challenging solutions making this a fun and exciting job. Part of Promet’s philosophy is to always follow best practices and industry standards which is very important to me. Promet also sponsors you if you want to become Drupal certified.
There is no micro managing going on here which I think any productive person can certainly appreciate. You are just expected to do your work and communicate effectively.
I’m really happy to be part of the Promet team.
Cons
This cons section is more difficult for me to fill out. In all honestly, there really isn't anything I'm unsatisfied about. Like I mentioned, I just renewed another contract.
