Pros
After working as an Americorps Teacher in 2014, Site Coordinator in 2015 at PT in Oakcliff, Texas and then a program Quality Coach in Memphis, Tennessee, I cannot recommend Project Transformation enough. The continued need for equitable education and racial reconciliation is ongoing and I hope to see PT continue to adapt to aiding these important causes.
Cons
I did only the summer programs for Project Transformation, it is truly immersive and all consuming. So you must be willing to devote 100% of your time to the job which can be challenging at time for those concerned with balancing work and home life.
