Pros

The remote aspect of it is decent and the pay is ok. My manager is also a decent person as well and the people are ok.

Cons

The training was almost non existent. They brought me in for a half day in the Chicago office and I sat in the manager's office and listened to him talk for 6 hours. They expected you to listen to old recordings of employees to learn. There is really no type of training program at all.

Pros

A publicly traded company with an entrepreneurial spirit. Terrific work life balance as long as you perform as expected. Hard work is rewarded at every turn. Great coaching by a wealth of industry experienced leadership. Terrific opportunities to grow professionally if you take them. Not an organization where you are just handed responsibilities, you must prove yourself and be willing to put in the time and get great at your job, not just good or satisfactory. I love the transparency that managers provide as to performance, you are never left guessing or dreading a review, because you always know how you are doing. Tight knit family but welcoming of new employees, not cliquish, which is refreshing. The addition of NAPW to the family is tremendous. I am proud to be a part of it. If you love the hustle and have the drive, you will fit in.

Cons

There are many challenges with a company that is constantly growing. If you are not able to turn on a dime and accept changes in procedures or shifting priorities, this is not the place for you. If you need constant supervision and constant direction to complete your tasks, and are not self motivated, you may feel lost. Lean teams and fast moving projects require a commitment of time and energy that some people just don't have.
