Toxic Environment - Acquisitions Executive Problem Property Pals Employee Review

Pros

You can learn the real estate market as an investor without using your own resources. That's it.

Cons

Toxic work environment from the executives mostly the CEO, little to no job security since they'll fire you for no actual good reason -where by their metrics you are excelling, will over promise and under deliver on quite literally everything from promotions to pay. You'll get cursed out by sellers for doing your job, and people will drag their feet, all for what you could make at McDonald's in half the time. Do yourself a favor and don't even interview because most likely you will want to quit within the first month if not first days.

Pros

Working for Problem Property Pals allows people who are looking to challenge themselves in unique real estate situations. Each day you get an opportunity to work with skilled colleagues and knowledgeable people in the wholesale real estate market in which problem solving is put to the test day in and day out. Management continues to invest in all of their employee’s overall well being and happiness. Everyone is extremely hardworking and never hesitates to lend a hand in becoming the best employee you can become.

Cons

Tough negotiations can occur on a daily basis. It takes a strong will to be able to fight through negotiations, stay disciplined, and utilize sales techniques to be successful.

Pros

Work was steady at first, for as long as you can remain a yes man and do what you’re told. If you don’t have a family or personal life this job is probably good for you.

Cons

Forced weekend work, risk of being fired for not agreeing to take on 25 extra hours of work a week with no tweek to pay (my situation). Having your job threatened if you recieve a missed call while you’re on the phone with a client… If/When you have a pay discrepancy you can expect to be treated like trash and spoken down to. Unrealistic work load requirements with a “get it done or I’ll go get someone who will” mentality. No one at this company cares about being human to one another, you are simply just a number… if you walk out the door a minute early after showing up an hour early that day you’re given a warning. Bonus: when I worked there you had to put your cell phone in a basket in the middle of the room like a child! Find other opportunities guys, sales management has a super dated approach to expectations. I wrote this a year after I stopped working here so I wouldn’t turn in something emotionally heated, that should tell you all you need to know about this company when reading.
