Pros
Innovative company with strong branding/marketing. Management tries to keep everyone informed about product developments, marketing strategies and other information at a once each month company meeting. Monthly drawings for Wild, Twins and Vikings tickets along with occasional free food keeps employees coming to the meetings. CEO and VP's are involved on a daily basis in the operations of the company. They seem to have a good feel for our varied markets. Company seems well-positioned for growth with lots of new things happening lately. Not a lot of "fluff" here. There's a nice exercise room in the building that gets a lot of use but the company kind of draws the line at that. People are here to work, get well compensated for success and progress in their experiences, knowledge and career development. It's actually quite refreshing. Pretty much everyone in the company is on some kind of a commission plan for achieving their monthly goals.
Cons
Smaller companies like this make it more difficult to move upwards. However, Primera has lots of long-term employees (20+ years!) who have done just that. Jobs here are what you make them. With a strong work ethic and a desire to succeed you will likely be rewarded. New opportunities mostly come along with new products in new markets which happens frequently around here.
