Cons
Employee and client turnover. Highly political culture and defensive teams with no clear lines of accountability. Leadership is promotional and good talkers but effective management is not to be found. Operations barely limp along with no qualified oversight. Far too much responsibility forced on low level employees. Firm is unable to properly fulfill compliance obligations. Client reporting is shoddy. No ownership of client investment results by consultants, surface level investment due diligence and research. Nepotism and personal connections drive the results. New growth initiatives not well thought out.
