Pros
After joining Prescriptive Data as a Senior Product Designer in September of 2016, I transitioned into a role as Director of Marketing in Spring 2018. While Prescriptive Data has the typical growing pains of any startup, the energy and spirit of the team paired with the support of the Rudin family and Rudin Management Company has made the experience one that I wouldn't trade for anything. The entire team really believes in the product and that we are all building something great - software that interacts with the physical space in a very tangible way. Executive Chairman John Gilbert III is a true visionary in the field and is constantly inspiring greatness in the product and the vision of the brand. CEO Sonu Panda really understands enterprise selling and has a logical measured approach to moving the business forward, which is a skill that I will bring with me to all future positions. To anyone thinking about joining Prescriptive Data, be prepared to work hard, to learn more about building operations than you ever thought you would need to know, and also build lifelong relationships with a team of hard working, inspiring people.
Cons
Typical startup growing pains and developing a product in an entirely new category is challenging without a clear path to success. There is a lot of trial and error in building processes that work.
