Pros

I thoroughly enjoy working at Prelude. My job responsibilities allow me to utilize my skills and to further develop them. My colleagues are an amazing group of individuals--we truly are a team and support one another. My direct supervisor is fantastic—they listen, offer guidance as needed, and encourage us. Other individuals in different departments are also very helpful and kind. I appreciate being hired here and for the important work I get to be a part of. Positive atmosphere, person-centered, evidence-based practices

Cons

Lower pay (although, management applied and got a COVID relief grant to give employees a bonus!), dress code restrictions

Pros

- Competetive salary - Achievable billable goal - No contract for supervision!! - Bonuses for being vaccinated! - Bonuses for retention - Paid training opportunities - Flexible Schedule - Great team - Great leadership - Supportive & awesome administrative team - Accessible leadership Overall, I have worked in both clinical and non-clinical environments and this is by far my favorite job. Also I'm not a manager and I was not paid to provide this review.

Cons

- TB test before and after start date was necessary - I've never had to do this for a job. - UA before the job which was pretty invasive and I haven't had to do this despite working other government and clinical jobs

Pros

Some of the employees are very devoted and knowledgable. The health insurance and PTO are pretty good. This organization has just received CARF Accreditation so some of the Cons below may be addressed soon.

Cons

They have cultivated a culture of continuous improvement . . . unless it's a tough problem. In that case it's more of a "cross your fingers and don't mention it" kind of culture. The pay is surprisingly low and management reiterates that they cannot afford to pay more because they are a non-profit organization. It's kind of become a sort of catchphrase. Employees are not trained appropriately for the environment. Work life balance and workload are pretty awful because they are terribly understaffed with no end in sight. Supervisors seem content with current quality of service. Extremely high employee turnover rate.
