Pros
- Working in a fully remote environment with a diverse team that allows you to work with people from various cultures. - The engineering processes, although average, were continually improving and going in the right direction until the VP of engineering was laid off (more details in the cons section). - Some colleagues, particularly managers, are decent individuals, making it a pleasure to work with them.
Cons
- A shockingly UNSTABLE company that has gone through nearly three rounds of layoffs in just the past year. In the last round, a staggering two-thirds of the engineering team were axed. - Management's vision and communication about the company's financials are a complete mess. Out of nowhere, you'll be dragged into a meeting where they announce the company is heading in the wrong direction, followed by a restructuring and mass layoffs. - The product team is utterly useless, spending all their time in pointless meetings with leadership, taking notes, and then scrapping everything based on the whims of these discussions.
