Pros
I started with this company in April of 2014 as a marketer. The first thing you'll notice is that everyone from the entry level marketer all the way up to the CEO is there to help you and make sure you succeed as long as you put the time and effort in. The training is straightforward and detailed. And the vibe you get in the office is that is your second family. I transferred into the sales department in October of 2014 and it was exactly the same feeling as the marketing side. The best part of the sales at Power is no more SGL's. Every lead is provided for you. The training is ongoing every week with a mentor, a boot camp, or just sitting in the office and learning. I've worked other sales jobs where everybody is out for themselves and fighting over the same leads. Not here. Not one bit. If you need help on something, there's at least ten people in the office ready to help you and take pride in seeing you improve. And you're given every single opportunity to succeed which is all I could ever ask for. Other benefits are full health benefits, 401K(after a year of employment), promotions, and a holiday trip to Cancun.
Cons
The schedule is the only con. In marketing, its typically a 11-8 day. It's a long day of hitting the pavement and you'll hear a lot of no's during the day, a lot of rude people, and a lot of doors slammed ion your face. It can get discouraging very quickly. On the sales side, you're on the schedule at all times. 10-8 during the week and 9-2 on Saturdays. The better part of the day you're waiting for an appointment that is sent to you by email and text message so planning anything at all can be difficult. You may be sitting down to dinner or going to eat at a restaurant and when you get that text, it's time to go to work.
