Be Realistic - Outbound Marketer Power Home Remodeling Employee Review

Pros

The team here is absolutely incredible. Everyone is really cool and they regularly get together outside of work. The management does a fantastic job with regular training sessions and keeping everyone motivated. The work culture is unlike anywhere I've ever worked. Benefits are great and the potential for growth is there. Product you're selling is top notch and I will likely use it on my home when the time comes, but only once someone knocks on my door :)

Cons

With zero disrespect to anyone at the company, this is not a job for college graduates. This is door to door sales. These are retail hours, meaning you work weekends. This is not easy. You will not be making $100K a year in this market. The average outbound marketer in Denver will pull in between $30-45K a year and that is not easy to do. You walk in rain, snow, hail, and bad winds. You're soliciting in "NO SOLICITING" areas. The sales pitch is extremely cheesy and most home owners can see through the "free estimate".

Pros

Power encourages and supports growth more than any other company I've worked for. The training, coaching, and leadership development opportunities are exceptional, and there is a genuine focus on helping people improve both professionally and personally. I've built valuable relationships, gained confidence as a leader, and developed skills that extend far beyond sales. For those who are motivated, coachable, and willing to put in the work, there are tremendous opportunities for growth, advancement, and long-term success.

Cons

The company operates at a fast pace and maintains high expectations, which can be demanding at times. However, Power is constantly evolving, requiring employees to adapt quickly to new processes, priorities, and opportunities. While these changes support growth and innovation, success often depends on strong time management, resilience, and a willingness to embrace change and continuous improvement.
